Wheatgrass Juice Powder

Wheatgrass Juice Powder  although more unconventional than fresh juice or frozen wheatgrass is another alternative to taking wheatgrass. 

If wante to compare the dosage of fresh juice to powdered grass, you will find it’s hard to compare as one is volume and the other is dry weight.  Nevertheless, dried grass juice powder has a 20:1 ratio meaning 20 oz of fresh wheatgrass juice will make 1 oz of Wheatgrass juice powder.  This is mainly because fresh juice is about 95% water.  

As it is so concentrated, normally for therapeutic purposes you need to take 6-10 ounces of fresh wheatgrass juice, you only need to take 1 teaspoon of grass juice powder daily.     

It is important to note that there are differences in wheatgrass juice powders.  Some are spray dried, some are freeze dried, some are drum dried and some are dried in carbon dioxide.  Wheatgrass juice powders are dried using different methods and vary in moisture levels.  

But how do you know if you are buying a good quality wheatgrass juice powder?  We suggest doing your research.  A good quality research powder all has to do with the method of extraction.  Factors that will degrade nutrients are oxygen, heat, light and water.  The more the manufacturer takes into consideration these elements, the higher the quality of the product. 

You can easily mix your wheatgrass juice powder with water or juice can take it whenever needed.  Or you can mix it into your bars, cereals, take it plain, use it for enemas or use it topically where needed.  For example wheatgrass can be used as a first aid application for athlete’s foot, cuts, bruises, rashs and burns, bad breath, body odor hemorrhoids, aczema, itchy, skin, dandruff, acne, blackheads and much much more.
