Ways To Drink Wheatgrass

There are so many different ways to drink wheatgrass.  We’ve listed a few of the most popular ways to drink wheatgrass.

At home juicing is the most economical approach, especially if you want to drink wheatgrass long term.  Juicing and growing it does take time though.  But you will have the satisfaction of growing your own wheatgrass and you will be able to control the soil, seeds, and nutrients that get added into your wheatgrass juice.

If you don’t want to buy a wheatgrass juicer you can always just chew the grass, which will instantly give you fresh breath, and spit out the indigestible fibers. Be careful though, it can be a real jawbreaker! Every mouthful of grass gives you about 1/4 oz of wheatgrass. Carry your fresh cut grass everywhere in a ziplock bag.

Many juice bars and health food stores now also offer wheatgrass by the shot. They can range anywhere from $2-$7 a shot depending on the place and what’s in the juice. Some juice bars may top the wheatgrass off with other goodies like bee pollen or spirulina.

Other popular options of course are to buy the wheatgrass in a powdered or frozen form at a health food store.

I want to try a wheatgrass shot. Does it taste like grass? Would it be nasty if I sip it?
