Over a period of years, layers of paste build up on the colon walls, shrinking the tunnel diameter and reducing the body’s efficiency of elimination. This is one of the causes of toxemia from which numerous aliments develop.
Wheatgrass enemas and colonics help to reduce the accumulation of waste in the body and restore normal colon function. Wheatgrass enemas help heal ulcers, soothe the tissues, oppose bad bacteria, and nourish the bloodstream. Wheatgrass enema nutrients are absorbed by the hemorrhoidal vein, just inside the anal sphincter, then circulate to the liver where they increase peristaltic action of the colon, and attract waste and old fecal matter like a magnet to be eliminated from the body. The wheatgrass juice also tones the colon and is absorbed into the blood, adding oxygen and energy to the body.
The three primary benefits of of wheatgrass enemas and implants are to purge the liver, purify the bloodsteam and detoxify the colon. Coffee enemas in comparison are used to stimulate the liver.
In a two quart enema bag, only add one oz of wheatgrass. Always use pure fresh water for your enemas. Once the colon is clear from one or more enemas, gradually increase your dose of wheatgrass and hold it for for ten to thirty minutes or longer. When the wheatgrass is held in the colon, this is referred to as a wheatgrass implant. You eventually want to hold the 10-20 oz of wheatgrass in your colon, the therapeutic dosage required.
The standard approach to a wheatgrass implant is to use a bulb syringe that can be purchased at a drug store. You can click here to see and buy a 2 oz bulb syringe. Prepare the colon by cleaning it with fresh water or use wheatgrass enemas to clear the intestine. A cleared colon is free of solid material in the waste stream and ideally, light in color. Take a break to juice your wheatgrass so it is fresh for the implant. Pout it into a cup. Take a 2-4 oz bulb syringe, squeeze out all the air and suck up the wheatgrass juice. Rest for several minutes until you feel you are ready to take more. Retention is more important than volume.
Some people can hold their wheatgrass implants for hours. The longer the better. Small amounts may be absorbed by the body. Daily application and gradual increases are key. As you do more and more wheatgrass enemas and implants you will develop the skills you need. The benefits of wheatgrass enemas and implants are well worth the trouble.
Colon hydrotherapy is another great option. They’re easier faster and more thorough, but you will have to arrange the details with your colon hypdrotherapist beforehand. You can also do a set of colon hydro therapies before your wheatgrass enema and implants to clean your colon first.

Always drink wheatgrass on an empty stomach and then wait 30 to 45 minutes before drinking or eating anything else. For normal health maintenance, take one to two oz of fresh squeezed wheatgrass juice daily. Therapeutic dosages are four to ten and some take up to twenty ounces daily. Although four ounces can be managed orally, higher amounts must be taken rectally. Wheatgrass has a strong cleansing effect on the digestive tract. Start taking too much and you will run to the toilet.
Nausea is also common with drinking too much wheatgrass and it another reason why therapeutic dosages are taken rectally. Some people say it could be the mold, others say it is the enzymes and the intense flavour.
The secret to drinking wheatgrass is to gradually increase the amount as you become acclimated to it. raise your dosage one oz every 2-7 days and drink only what makes you comfortable. However, if you are fighting an illness you will have to take it rectally to achieve the daily 10 – 20 oz therapeutic amount. Or use dried grass in quantity mixed with fresh green juices.
If the intense sweet grassy taste of wheatgrass is difficult for you try this. Grow your wheatgrass hydroponically. It tastes milder and still contains the potency as grass grown in soil. Also try mixing your wheatgrass with other green vegetables. Celery is the best match. it is high in sodium and nicely balances the sugars in the young grass. Other greens you can add are parsley, sprouts, spinach, kale, and dandelion. Keep it all green and add some garlic or ginger too. You will find the mixture tastes like a liquid salad and the taste of the grass will be camouflaged.
You can also try growing your grass outdoors. Your grass will have longer roots, more minerals and a mild taste. It will be completely lacking the sweetness of young grass.

There are so many different ways to drink wheatgrass. We’ve listed a few of the most popular ways to drink wheatgrass.
At home juicing is the most economical approach, especially if you want to drink wheatgrass long term. Juicing and growing it does take time though. But you will have the satisfaction of growing your own wheatgrass and you will be able to control the soil, seeds, and nutrients that get added into your wheatgrass juice.
If you don’t want to buy a wheatgrass juicer you can always just chew the grass, which will instantly give you fresh breath, and spit out the indigestible fibers. Be careful though, it can be a real jawbreaker! Every mouthful of grass gives you about 1/4 oz of wheatgrass. Carry your fresh cut grass everywhere in a ziplock bag.
Many juice bars and health food stores now also offer wheatgrass by the shot. They can range anywhere from $2-$7 a shot depending on the place and what’s in the juice. Some juice bars may top the wheatgrass off with other goodies like bee pollen or spirulina.
Other popular options of course are to buy the wheatgrass in a powdered or frozen form at a health food store.
